Andrew: Paid survey sites are looking for you to sign up for free. If you’re paying for a paid survey site, you’re doing it wrong.
Sign up with an email and create a secure password. They will often ask you to verify your identity by confirming an email or verifying a mobile number.
Then you take a short profiler….A few brief questions will enable them to to target the survey you are most likely eligible for.
Stacy: You mentioned different kinds of paid survey sites…what is the best paid survey site?
Andrew: Sure, there’s lots of paid survey sites out there…for different purposes… parents looking to send your kids to college…to boost college savings or you’re looking for something fun on the side.
The survey site that I like best is Swagbucks.com. I like how fun it is, how easy it is to use, it's intuitive and I like that the surveys pay out a lot of money.
Stacy: …I’m glad to hear [it]. Because this is a question we get a lot from members…do paid surveys really pay?
DO PAID SURVEYS REALLY PAY?
Andrew: Absolutely. If you’re on the right survey site. They often pay free Amazon gift cards or PayPal, or Walmart and Target gift cards. Swagbucks even pays crypto vouchers so you get free Bitcoin for taking paid surveys.
Stacy: So how much can you make? Can you quit your 9 to 5 job?
HOW MUCH CAN YOU MAKE FROM PAID SURVEYS?
Andrew: I wouldn’t [quit your 9 to 5]…I think surveys are a great way to make a little bit extra…to get paid while watching Netflix, or in a waiting room, or idling in the back of an Uber. Or when you’re in the front of an Uber waiting for your next customer.
But you’re not going to get rich.
Stacy: So what type of information do you need to take surveys? What types of online surveys are you taking?
WHAT TYPES OF ONLINE SURVEYS ARE THERE?
Andrew: There’s lot of different online surveys. From surveys that ask your thoughts on a commercial…to a company introducing a new logo…Maybe they want your opinions about politics…
There are even in-home product trials… A survey that I got to take where Keurig sent me their latest model… I got to keep the machine and $50.
Stacy: So some surveys ask your address for sending samples. How do you know it’s safe?
ARE SURVEY SITES SAFE?
Andrew: You certainly need to be cautious. You want to make sure the company has a strong Better Business Bureau rating.
I like TrustPilot as a source for [letting me know] that the survey site is safe.
Stacy: Which paid survey apps are legit?
WHICH PAID SURVEY APPS ARE LEGIT?
Andrew: There’s a lot of survey sites out there, from Swagbucks.com to MyPoints.com to InboxDollars.com. Google Opinion Rewards is another as well as Zap Surveys, Survey Junkie, Branded Surveys…
Swagbucks.com and InboxDollars.com offer the highest payouts and are the most fun – really important. You want to enjoy it because you’re doing this in your free time.
Stacy: Are there surveys that pay right away? What paid survey sites pay instantly?
ARE THERE ANY SURVEYS THAT PAY RIGHT AWAY? WHAT PAID SURVEY SITES PAY INSTANTLY?

Andrew: It’s important to remember that each survey is not necessarily for you. That market researcher behind the survey is looking for a very specific person to complete it… Keep trying surveys.
