Video

Video Description

Are you running for Student Council? Are you unsure about where to start or if you should even run? Don't worry, I have you covered in this all in one video on how to WIN your next Student Council election. ๐Ÿ˜€

If you're new to channel, HI! I'm Nelson Lee and I'm a first year Engineering student at the University of Toronto. Last year, I was the Student Council President at Marc Garneau CI (one of the biggest and most diverse high schools across Canada), and at the time of posting this video, I am the YOUNGEST elected representative on the University of Toronto Student Union, Canada's largest university's student government with over 35,000 constituents. I've also worked on numerous political campaigns on a provincial and federal level.

In this video, I go over every topic related to Student Council elections such as whether you should run, how to apply, pre-campaigning (making a platform, posters, and more), campaigning (social media marketing, online messaging, in-person interactions), your SPEECH, and post-campaigning.
