Frederick, Maryland, police officer Christian Roush pulls over YouTube journalist Levi Trumbull for allegedly running a red light. Officer Roush doesn't understand his own state's implied consent laws and falsely arrests Levi for DUI after he refuses to take a field sobriety test. After taken to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, Levi blows 0.000% BAC. Ultimately, Levi was not charged with a DUI, but he still received tickets for a red light violation and failure to provide a driver's license. Both tickets were dismissed after Deputy Roush failed to appear in court. In this video, we dive into Officer Roush's administrative charges and punishment for his incompetence, as well as the details of Levi's pre-litigation settlement with the state of Maryland.
