When I bought my land in 2023 (with a loan), I knew I wanted to help the pollinators. I had no idea at the time just how bleak the outlook was for the monarch butterfly. Since my farm is along the Eastern monarch migratory route, here is everything I am doing to support the butterflies to my fullest extent.

I registered my farm as a monarch waystation through monarch watch. If we can get enough people to start caring about this, the monarch may stand a chance.

A lot is out of our control… but THIS is in our control. And that's all that matters to me.
