In this episode we take a look at the 3,200 ships and 20,000 crewmembers stuck on board ships and what one merchant mariner has reported on the situation on board. We updated the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf, with Iran allowing ships to leave and enter, and also look at each of the major trading sectors. Finally, we look at the Trump administration proposal to remove the sanctions on Russian and even Iranian oil afloat to offset the increase cost and shortages, while enacting a 60-day waiver of the Jones Act, allowing foreign vessels to engage in the coastwise trade of the United States to haul oil, gas, and fertilizer.
