After using the sweatcoin app for over 6 months now and walking more than 400 miles, I figured I was more than qualified to give an honest review of the Sweatcoin app. More importantly I had more than enough data points and experience to see if you can actually get paid for walking.

In theory it sounds incredible if you can make money from an activity you do everyday, regardless if you're were to get paid or not (e.g., walking/running, breathing, eating), but there's more to it with the walking app, Sweatcoin. On average, it's going to take you 6 years to get enough coins to win a cool prize or 3 years on the paid subscription plan! Over the years, Sweatcoin is using the three ways below to make money from their customers in order to offset the gifts people are buying/redeeming with their coins. For me, I'd rather not worry about the app and it draining my battery over that long of a period. That's why I now have deleted the app.

Sweatcoin makes there money from three different ways:
1) The paid monthly ($5) or annually ($25) membership fees;
2) Singing up or purchasing one of their trail products; and
3) Watching their ads from the daily bonuses.
